Financial Module Implementation

ISC provides full and superior value-added services, through the integrated application of consulting & information technology services, and related products. ISC has experienced 100 percent growth every year. That growth accelerated further due to several strategic acquisitions.

Project Objective

The existing financials system was unable to support ISC’s rapidly growing services business. The package did not directly support processing high volumes of timesheets and expenses. Reporting and executive information was also inadequate for a services business. At any given time, obtaining project/employee profitability was time consuming and error prone.

Solution

After reviewing the situation and evaluating several leading vendors of enterprise applications, Wability decided to implement PeopleSoft Financials & Distribution and HRMS package. The Wability team undertook the implementation of Administer Workforce, Benefits Administration, Payroll Interface, GL, AP, AR, Billing, Purchase, While modules such as GL, AP, AR & Purchase are implemented with minor customization, Projects/Contracts module has been customized extensively. In addition a completely new Timesheet Entry modules has been developed in Phase II. Through an efficient use of PeopleSoft’s Set ID/Business Units/Departments and security features, Wability has been able to create seemingly independent applications for multiple legal entities in a common HRMS and Financials database.
